These archives are key to a more comprehensive understanding of artists’ works, as well as the creative processes underlying them. Browsing an artist’s own collection of books, magazines, catalogs and illustrations allows us to dive deeper into his life beyond the paintbrush by revealing the very cultural fabric that sustained his work.
